Women's Services
The Hospital offers the following:

•     Well Woman’s Clinic
•     Mammography (conducted by a female radiographer)
•     Ante-natal Clinic
•     Maternity Clinic
•     Obstetrics and Gynaecological Clinic
•     Lamaaze Programme

These services are provided at a fixed price and patients can choose their preferred ward.

Breast Cancer Awareness Support Group
Since women detect 90 percent of breast cancer symptoms themselves, cancer awareness is extremely relevant for every woman. The Group organises awareness workshops covering important issues such as:

•     Knowledge and awareness of breast cancer
•     Identifying high risk individuals
•     Importance of self-examination and regular medical check-ups
•     Mammograms for early detection
•     Healthy lifestyle

Diagnosed patients can rely on support from group members for emotional support, sharing personal experiences and responding to important questions. The support group collaborates with specialist physicians, gynaecologists and the Kenya Cancer Association and the Nairobi Hospice.

Volunteer groups operate independently of the Hospital. While they are not part of the medical programme, they play an important public service role. The views expressed by these groups do not necessarily reflect those of the Hospital.
