Operation Theatre
The hospital has a fully equipped operating theatre complete with state-of-art facilities. All infection-control protocols are strictly observed in the theatre. Anaesthesia during surgery is provided by highly qualified and professional anaesthesiologists.
Midwifery School
In 1954, a training centre for assistant midwives was established at the hospital. In 1967, the institution was elevated to the status of a full-fledged midwifery training centre. More than 700 students from different parts of Pakistan, including Northern Areas, Chitral, Rural Sindh and Punjab, have been trained as registered midwives. The school has a qualified and experienced faculty along with a well-equipped skills laboratory, and a well-supplied library.
