Infant and Child Care

Paediatrics
The Hospital has:

•     Paediatrician Consulting Clinics
•     Circumcision
•     Neo-natal Care Unit

Nursery
The Hospital has a well-equipped nursery to cater to the needs of critically sick neo-natal infants with four incubators and four infant beds. It is staffed by paediatricians and registered nurses specially trained in neo-natal care.

Vaccination
Immunisation is available according to the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) schedule.

Vaccination for tetanus is also available for expectant mothers. The Clinic is open on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Well Baby Clinic
The Clinic provides growth and development monitoring of children of up to 1½ years. It offers health education techniques including proper weaning methods. The Clinic also offers a continued outpatient care programme ensuring mother and child receive ante-natal, post-natal and well baby care and vaccination services.
