Located on AKMCCC premises, the Aga Khan Diagnostic Centre, Hyderabad
houses a number of Outpatient Consultant Clinics.
Laboratory Services
Under a collaboration between Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan
and the Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH), Karachi took
over the management of all clinical laboratories functioning
under Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS, P). This collaboration
has resulted in enhanced quality of laboratory testing for Aga
Khan Health Service Pakistan (AKHS, P) patients and the additional
benefit of preferred pricing for patients coming to Aga Khan
Health Service Pakistan’s consulting clinics.
Radiology
The Centre offers a wide range of radiology examinations using
X-ray, fluoroscopy and ultrasound. Besides basic chest, limb,
skull and abdomen examinations, a number of additional specialised
investigations are available. A mobile X-ray unit is available
to radiograph critically ill patients and an emergency ultrasound
facility is available 24-hours daily. A qualified radiologist,
two sonologists and two radiographers staff this department.
