Infant and Child Care

The paediatric ward consists of 28 beds, two rooms for personalized care, two isolation rooms and a children’s play room with specially trained paediatric nurses. Paediatric consultants manage a full neo-natal care unit, paediatric ward and outpatient facilities in the Hospital. Specialist clinics in this department include:

Well Child Clinic
The clinic offers health and growth check-ups, immunization for Tuberculosis and Polio, Diphtheria-Pertussis-Tetanus (DPT), Measles (free for babies born at the hospital), Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR), Haemophilus Influenzae type B (HIB), Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) vaccination and development assessment.

Paediatric Asthma/Allergy Clinic
The Clinic focuses on diagnosing and treating children with asthma, food and other allergies.

Paediatric Urgi-Care Clinic
As the medical condition of children changes rapidly, the clinic monitors children intensely for a few hours. Children are admitted to the Hospital only if absolutely necessary, providing child-sensitive care and avoiding unnecessary expense.

All the rooms in the paediatric ward includes: air conditioning, nurse call system, cardiac arrest alarm.
